At some point, each of us have had a special someone in our lives. But after we get over the infatuation, and the overdose of happy hormones, how do you make the relationship last? Here are a few tips that can help to maintain a healthy relationship.

As most of you may know, child star Corey Haim has died today of an apparent drug overdose. Instead of posting five hundred messages on twitter “who’s Corey, where, what, when, how” I googled to get the full scoop. When his picture came up my heart sank!! He starred/co starred in the Lost Boys, License to Drive, Crank: High Voltage and The Two Coreys.  My God, he was just 38 years old! A full promising life ahead of him, snuffed out so early by something VERY preventable!!

The recent upsurge in violence is a hot topic these days; yet we STILL pretend its happening somewhere else to someone else! Aint that somethin? People talk about it every single day now, because every week shots fired here or there, police cars and ambulance speeding down the roadways. Things happen that we don't even see on the news or read in the paper even though Cayman is so small.

Is Chivalry dead? This has been debated for decades now. But in my opinion, since its 2010, we should get past believing that only men should display acts of chivalry. Chivalry should be a two way street, don't you agree? 

Added to the list of things not kept sacred anymore in today’s society is marriage.  These days women are actively searching for MARRIED men to date! WTF is up with that? Will someone please clarify? Especially because there are SO many single men out there…. Come on!
