Thirty-six-year-old Oneil Bryan better known as ‘Elephant Man’ is facing sexual offences charges.
He was charged after he was picked up by detectives assigned to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).
Allegations are that the entertainer sexually assaulted a 31-year-old woman at his home in St Andrew this month. A report was made to CISOCA and following investigations he was taken into custody.
Following a question-and-answer session Monday evening, in the presence of his attorney, Linda Wright, Elephant Man was charged with grevious sexual assault and rape.
This is the second arrest for Elephant Man in less than a year.
Last June the artiste appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court, accused of stealing electricity from the Jamaica Public Service Company.
